    Established in 2010, ClearView is an ASX-listed life insurance business that partners with financial advisers to help Australians protect their wealth. 

    In financial year 2023, ClearView paid $127.35 million in claims to 1,032 claimants across all our products. 

    ClearView manages over $350 million in inforce premiums and has relationships with over 1,000 Australian Financial Services Licensees, representing around 5,000 financial advisers.

    Their needs

    ClearView Wealth Limited (ClearView) was seeking to enrich and complement their product suite available to customers impacted by cancer. Cancer was identified as a top claims cost within ClearViewโ€™s claim portfolio, the largest volumes including melanoma, breast and prostate. 

    ClearView was looking for digital health product offerings that align with their strategic commitment to supporting customers to achieve a better quality of life through increased physical and mental health. As part of this strategy they identified the following areas of focus: prehabilitation, exercise physiology, and occupational rehabilitation support.

    The Challenge

    The digital health landscape often witnesses the underutilisation of solutions, something that ClearView did not want to compromise on. Osara Health understands that in order to market a digital health product well, itโ€™s helpful to understand if a person has a diagnosed condition and is undergoing a life event that is motivating them to seek care. Itโ€™s reaching them at that exact right moment that matters most.

    Successful adoption of digital health solutions like Osara Health requires not only addressing technical and operational challenges but also recognising the critical importance of timing and personalised engagement.

    Tailoring marketing efforts to align with individuals’ specific healthcare needs and life events can increase the likelihood of capturing their attention and interest, creating a conducive environment for successful implementation and sustained use of digital health solutions.

    “The program was well structured and the modules on diet, exercise, and symptom tracking were helpful, keeping me focused and informed. It started a lot of conversation for me in my own mind.

    The symptom tracking really helped my oncologist, particularly in one instance where I had an infection. With a cancer diagnosis often your infection indicators will go through the roof which can either be prompted by the cancer itself or the treatment. Through the symptoms I was tracking and able to report, my oncologist identified that I actually did
    have another infection, at which point they were able to put me on antibiotics and that was dealt with. It meant that I wasnโ€™t battling an infection at the same time as battling cancer.

    But the best part of Osara Health? It gave me a sense of control and confidence. I felt empowered to advocate for myself, to take charge of my own health journey which is so important during the cancer journey.”
